Form, duration and venue of this Mini-Symposium:
It is meant that the group discussions of the participants (30-50 persons, professionals like art educators, researchers, representatives of the authorities, designers, artists, journalists, students) plays a major function. It will be inspired by short interventions of the organizers and others (to be invited).
These meetings could last 1-2 days and have to be well documented for further purposes
The discussions can be held at the National Museum of Mali, or/and at the Institut National des Arts à Bamako, or/and the Muso Kunda Museum, Bamako. The Institut National des Arts could also play a certain role in the opening and final plenary session by recruiting and contribuiting some cultural highlights (music performance, dance...)
